“Another National Park to check off our list.”
Anita & Bryan are national park aficionados, having travelled to an extensive list of national parks across the US and Canada. But there is nothing quite like waking up before sunrise at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, getting all dressed up, and sharing your wedding vows in front of the always-stunning Lake Louise and Mount Victoria at first light.
There is no shortage of exceptionally beautiful locations to elope at in the Banff National Park boundaries. Knowing how important experiencing what this special park has to offer is to Anita & Bryan, we got to work drafting an ambitious list of locations to share with them. That list included Lake Louise, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and Takakkaw Falls, located just across the British Columbia border in Yoho National Park.
We were treated to a stunning morning, with the summer sun peaking periodically through scattered clouds, diffusing the light and creating some spectacular cascading warm light. The iconic turquoise lakes scattered throughout the Canadian Rockies were truly alive this morning, creating a stunning scene for the newlyweds.
