The Person Behind the Lens
Having a creative career was not always my main focus. I thought I would be working in a cubicle, analyzing financial data and helping people manage their assets. And even though I secured what I thought was my forever career in finance, it turns out that wasn't quite what the universe planned for me.
Both of my parents ran their own businesses, and from a young age I saw what it took to be successful as an entrepreneur. Hard work, passion, and a near-obsessive level of dedication.
To this day, I still carry those lessons with me. I still bring that passion, drive, and motivation with me in everything I do, and as it turns out, telling your love story is what the universe had in store for me.
Unlike many of my peers, having a creative career was not my main focus from a young age. In fact, I always thought I would be working in a cubicle analyzing financial data and helping people manage their assets. But even though I secured what I thought was my forever career, it turns out it wasn't what the universe planned for me.
Both of my parents ran their own businesses, and from a young age I saw what it took to be successful as an entrepreneur. Hard work, passion, and a near-obsessive level of dedication. To this day, I still carry those lessons with me. Those lessons guided me in my athletic career to become a national champion and represent Canada at the 2017 Winter Universiade, achieve multiple athletic scholarships based on academic achievements, and graduate with honours from university. I also worked my way up the corporate ladder to become a licensed investment advisor, helping clients manage their large asset portfolios.
I still bring that passion, drive, and motivation with me in everything I do, and as it turns out, telling your love story is what the universe had in store for me.

My favourite moments are spent exploring my home base in the canadian rockies, as well as far away lands, learning about and experiencing different cultures. by travelling, we grow as people.

My wife and I both decided that we wanted more out of life than our finance careers were offering us, at a time when society said that we were supposed to be settling down. This is the origin of Belmont media, a business rooted in a passion for making our own break. By naming our business after the street we were living on when we made the choice to do life on our own terms, we aim to never forget about why we do what we do.
This decision, along with leaving our stable careers, set off a chain of events which has given us the adventure of a lifetime.
I have been blessed to travel the world with my wife. The more we travel, the more we realize that everyone has their own unique story just like ours. A story that is full of incredible human moments and interactions, and one that is shaped by culture and life experiences that are inherently different than ours. And by sharing those stories, we learn every day that there is more that unites us than divides us as humans.
